4 Valuable Tips for a Stress-Free Wedding Day
Weddings more often than not can be stressful to plan. However, with some important key points to take into consideration they can become less stressful. Below, we will discuss 4 valuable elements that will help you prepare for the anticipated wedding day.
The First Glimpse
if you have absolutely no idea what this is; This is where you both see each other for the first time in your wedding attire before the ceremony. BREAKING TRADITIONS, YOU SAY? OMG, YES! I cannot recommend this enough, to me to it is probably one of the most important stress free things you can really put into place for your wedding. What I like to do is tie in portraits with you two, wedding party and possibly family, I want you to be able to enjoy your cocktail hour or at least some of it instead of doing portraits throughout the entire cocktail hour after your wedding trying to catch a picture with everybody. This also creates a backup incase if weather permits, it adds more photos to your gallery and really it creates a magical moment JUST FOR YOU TWO. Weddings can be pretty fast paced and rushed and sometimes you almost feel like you cant have a moment just for you and it’s pretty common in couples that have had a first look said their nerves resided some throughout the rest of their wedding day and who wouldn’t want that?
The Time Of Light
Light is one of the most important parts when it comes to planning on the photography side. You simply don’t want to push your ceremony too late to where you wont have enough light for portraits if portraits are being taken afterwards but you don’t want to have your ceremony in the middle of the day with harsh light either. There is definitely a sweet spot and really it is extremely important to keep in mind the time of year because the sunrise and sunset changes throughout the entire year. If you and your partner are wanting beautiful sunset photos, you will need to make sure you don’t push your ceremony too late so that you wont miss that awesome sunset lighting that South Florida has to offer.
Buffer Time
If you believe your wedding wont run late, you could be wrong. Truth is, we don’t have control of everything always as much as we wish we did. Anything can and will happen. Hair and Makeup takes too long, family is stuck in traffic, or the ceremony ends up being too long. You will want to make sure that you don’t leave just a few minutes in between certain parts of your day and give yourself enough time. It’s not realistic to only leave a few minutes in between everything, just be real and up front with yourself in the beginning and that will pay off on you having a relaxed wedding. It’s all about preparation.
